📣 Big Announcement for the #ExpansionMicroscopy community 🔬
Automation, biomolecule grafting and labelling remain some of the biggest challenges in scaling expansion microscopy towards preclinical research.
We’re proud to announce a new Eureka Network #Eurostars consortium dedicated to tackling these challenges head-on and advancing expansion microscopy for neurodegenerative disease research.
The project brings together four partners:
➡️ Chrometra — developing novel gel chemistries and probes
➡️ ABCD Antibodies / Université de Genève — optimising recombinant antibodies for expansion
➡️ Universiteit Utrecht — leading scientific validation
➡️ Visualise.bio — automating the expansion microscopy workflow
🤝 Together, we will build more accessible, reproducible and scalable tools for revealing the molecular architecture of neurodegenerative disease.
By bringing automation, chemistry, antibody engineering and scientific validation together, we’re taking an important step towards making high-resolution molecular imaging more practical.
